All kits that come directly from our Lab are sealed prior to shipment. Once you peel the perforated tab to open your kit, you should find a covered tape strip that can be used to seal the kit again once your sample is ready to be sent back.

If you received your kit from your doctor's office, it may have been given to you unsealed. This is perfectly fine, and just means you would see two covered tape strips inside your kit upon opening it. You should use the tape strip on the orange side for a tamper-proof seal.
