Do your best and try not to stress! (Harder than it sounds, but trust us.) We will let you know if our lab isn't able to process your sample due to low volume. If that should happen, we'll get a replacement kit sent to you right away so a new sample can be collected.
The sample produced should be at least 0.5 mL. However, we recognize that measuring the volume isn't really feasible on your end, so we usually tell our customers that the sample should be at least the size of a blueberry. 🫐
Experience has shown us that many samples are low volume because the person providing the sample did not get all their semen into the collection cup, so aim carefully!
For some men, increasing arousal time can make a big difference in semen volume. Decreasing stress can also help, so try to get comfortable and relax before you plan to collect your sample.
